Theatre Maker - Performer - Creative

Hello, welcome!

Thanks for stopping by 😊

I am a queer, agender multidisciplinary theatre maker from Australia, born and raised in Boorloo (Perth) now primarily based in Naarm (Melbourne) since 2018. My work spans various roles, including performer, creative producer, dramaturge, director - an all-around creative.

I am instinctively drawn to theatre with music, queer theatre, and the development of new works. Building on my formal education in performance at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and my role as the inaugural and current New Work Manager for Antipodes Theatre Company, I am dedicated to advancing the future of Australian theatre. I strive to foster authentic and ethical collaboration while supporting both fellow and emerging artists.

Additionally, I consciously seek to expand my practice by exploring other perspectives, disciplines and acquiring new skillsets, which I then integrate into my own work. I fundamentally believe artists (and humanity for that matter) are at our best when we can learn from each other.

Accountability

My goal is to create and maintain a thriving, collaborative, diverse, and empowering artistic community. I not only welcome feedback, I actively encourage it—whether communicated directly or anonymously. I believe in being open to criticism and holding myself accountable for my actions and words. Whilst my intentions are always for the best outcomes, that doesn’t absolve me from the responsibilities, duty of care, and privilege.

2020 September 26th
I pledge to continue educating myself, listening, having the hard conversations and that I will always create safe, welcoming and diverse environments in our industry and beyond. I stand with my BIPOC friends and peers. I see you and I support you.

Take the pledge.

We are all responsible.

Working Together

I’m open to receiving offers — it's always nice to be asked!

If I’m unable to accept the work myself, I’ll do my best to recommend other artists whom I believe would be a good fit for the role or project.

Get To Know Me

I take my time getting to know others, but here’s a cheat sheet to understanding the person behind the profession. (I feel like this became a dating bio ha!)

  • I’m a proud nerd 📚

  • Night owl and coffee is my first love language ☕️

  • Animal lover, all kinds! 🐈‍⬛ Fairly cat-like myself

  • Close circle of friends, big on direct communication and generally the joker 👯

  • Nintendo gamer since a year age, I basically play all of their first party games 🎮

  • Lots of tattoos, will one day be covered ✒️

  • Love a long walk and chipping away at my overwhelming Podcast library 🚶🏻

  • More TV than film, investing in quality episodic storytelling, variety of genres and (not so secretly) including horror and reality TV to wind down 📺

  • Keep up with the latest tech, and slowing building a Smart Home (some limitations while renting)📱

  • My ultimate form is that of a vampire goddess (yes, I’m serious)—draped in dark silks, with elegant, sharp black nails and infinitely long, raven hair 🦇—I am, alas, human…for now.
