The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts presents

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

by William Shakespeare

waapa.ecu.edu.au

On the hottest night of the year, young lovers Hermia and Lysander run away from the rules of the city and into the freedom of the forest. Close on their heels are Helena and Demetrius. Demetrius is chasing Hermia, Helena is chasing Demetrius, no one is chasing Helena... yet.

Into a forest of rough magic they go, but this is no fairytale.

WAAPA Acting and VCA Directing alumnus Trent Baker, brings us this creative reimagining of one of Shakespeare's greatest plays.
