ATC’s fourth annual Winter Lab for bold work and new ideas features eight projects ranging from physical theatre and devised work to comedy and musicals. In addition to in-person development sessions for each project, the sixty-three participants took part in a variety of workshops, forums and panel discussions including:

RETROSPECTIVE
Cameron Steens - Lead Producer
After successfully managing the first three Winter Labs, I assumed the position of Lead Producer. Initially, I convened a panel of six artists to review over 40 distinct projects, ultimately selecting the final eight participants for the 2023 Winter Lab. Subsequently, I collaborated closely with the creators of each show to identify the most suitable collaborators, encompassing actors, directors, dramaturges, consultants, mentors, and designers. I secured contracts for all sixty-three artists, developed schedules for their two-week development periods, and oversaw all marketing initiatives. I coordinated and facilitated group events, showings, and made creative contributions to each project. This endeavor stands as the most significant and gratifying achievement of my professional career to date.
