ATC’s fourth annual Winter Lab for bold work and new ideas features eight projects ranging from physical theatre and devised work to comedy and musicals. In addition to in-person development sessions for each project, the sixty-three participants took part in a variety of workshops, forums and panel discussions including:

RETROSPECTIVE
Cameron Steens - Lead Producer
After helping run the first three Winter Labs, I moved into the position of Lead Producer. Beginning with a panel of six artists, we reviewed over 40 unique projects and arrived at the final eight projects that would participate in the 2023 Winter Lab. From there, I worked closely with the creators of each show to find the right collaborators for their project - ranging from actors to directors, dramaturges, consultants, mentors, designers, and beyond. I contracted all sixty-three artists, created schedules for their two-week developments, and managed all marketing. I coordinated and ran group events, showings and found time to contribute creatively to each project. The largest and most rewarding project of my career to date.
