ATC’s fifth annual Winter Lab for bold work and new ideas features six projects ranging from physical theatre and devised work to comedy. In addition to in-person development sessions for each project, the 51 participants take part in a variety of workshops and panel discussions including:

RETROSPECTIVE
Cameron Steens - Lead Producer
In my second year as a lead producer, I collaborated with five other panelists to review over 50 unique projects. This process culminated in the selection of the final six projects that would participate in the 2024 Winter Lab. Subsequently, I engaged in close collaboration with the creators of each show to identify the most suitable collaborators for their projects. This encompassed a diverse range of professionals, including actors, directors, dramaturges, consultants, mentors, and designers. I secured contracts with all fifty-one artists, developed comprehensive schedules for their two-week development periods, and oversaw all marketing initiatives. Additionally, I coordinated and facilitated group events, showings, and made creative contributions to each project. The Winter Lab remains the most significant and fulfilling endeavor of my professional career to date.
